Creative Computing – Light it Up

As a post SAT exam thank you for their student Pyebank CE Primary School invited us to deliver a Computing and DT inspired day.  What better way to end their exams.

Creating mini light up installations with and without inputs.  We had so much fun learning and applying their knowledge about circuits, electricity and design.  The students hadn’t used any hardware in the computing lessons so this was a great way to see programming come to life. A few exciting moments when students created crazy flashing light patterns or managed to short circuit the power.  All fantastic opportunities learning.
